Google Now Adds An ‘Occasionally’ Reminder Option for Frequent Tasks and Events

Google has added the Occasional reminder option which will reminds you about your important recurring task lists.

The new Occasional reminder feature was first introduced by Android Police. With this reminder feature, you can setup the task for any particular day, date or time which will be an ongoing reminder. “At this early point, though, it isn’t clear how regularly that ‘occasional’ reminders will be shown to users.”

When setting the reminder in Google Now, you’ll be asked when you’d like to be reminded of your event. The options include “today,” “tomorrow” and now “occasionally.” if you select the “occasionally” option then it will place the reminder near the top of your Google Now feed list as an Ongoing notification, and you will be given the option of being reminded the next day or dismiss it.
