Twitter is testing the major re-design of profile which looks like the combination of Facebook, Google plus and Pinterest.

The change was First noted by a Mashable staffer Matt Petronzio, who noticed that his Twitter profile had undergone a major change on Tuesday. Also some selected users have reported that profile looks like Facebook and Google plus. It has a large header photo similar to Facebook and a profile picture section on the left hand side of the profile page. Twitter is aiming to make the site design much easier featuring the image and video tweets/posts also.

Twitter’s redesign profile page also display the total count of followers, following, tweets and photos. Twitter keeps on experimenting with the new features and designs and here’s what its official blog (https://blog.twitter.com/2013/experiments-twitter) says: “We also experiment with features that may never be released to everyone who uses Twitter. Those experiments are perhaps even more valuable because they help us decide what not to do –– which is important as we work to keep Twitter simple while improving the user experience. Ultimately, our goal is to learn and keep making the product better; we aren’t necessarily looking to launch all of the experiments we roll out.”

Also Twitter’s VP of engineering said back in September, “We are constantly evolving the product. Some changes are visible – they may help you protect your Twitter account or make it easier to share photos; others are under-the-hood changes that help us suggest relevant content in real time and make Twitter more engaging.”

Let’s see how the user will react to the new twitter profile design.
