Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook Page Hacked by Bug researcher

In order to prove that the security flaw exist in Social media giant Facebook, a bug or security researcher , Khalil Shreateh proves his point and posted on Zuckerberg’s  Facebook wall about the bug. The Security flaw he reported was that Facebook  allow people to post on someone’s wall without being in their friends’ list !!

Launch date set for Windows 8.1 by Microsoft

Those who were not happy from Windows 8 for the lack of certain features and functionalities such as lack of start button, Microsoft has finally confirmed to release Windows 8.1 with improved features to the general public in October 2013 starting at 12:00am in New Zealand.

A frustrating time for users of Yatra, one of the India’s leading online travel agency that offers its customers rail tourism packages , domestic and international flights, weekend holidays, hotels and trains seems to have forgotten to renew its domain name expired on 9th August causing inconvenience to its large customerbase worldwide. India ranks second biggest recipient in Facebook $1M Bug Bounty !!

Recently a giant social networking website Facebook said that it has paid over USD 1 million in the past two years to bug hunters or security researchers who finds and reports bugs on his website. Amazing discovery is that India is ranked as second biggest recipient in Facebook bug bounty program.  The social networking major noted that “The countries with the most bounty recipients are, in order, the US, India, UK, Turkey, and Germany. The countries with the fastest-growing number of recipients are, in order, the US, India, Turkey, Israel, Canada, Germany, Pakistan, Egypt, Brazil, Sweden, and Russia” (more…)
