One of the most popular browser, Google Chrome has turned five and Google has updated the functionality and features of its Chrome apps. Google Chrome would now have the ability to launch the apps from a window desktop.
The new app will have many amazing features. It will work offline, connect to the cloud, launch app directly from your desktop and also will be able to interact with USB and Bluetooth devices. It will be updated automatically so that you get all the latest features.
Erik Kay, engineering director and Chrome app-ologist in the announcement said that this new Chrome app for desktop would be available for Windows system first . It would start later on Mac and Linux too.
An app launcher will appear in the Windows toolbar to launch the apps when a desktop Chrome app is installed. This Chrome apps that are available from the “For Your Desktop” collection in the Chrome Web Store.
