Recode has reported that Apple has scheduled an iPhone event on September 9 and will reportedly announce its new iPhones.
As mentioned on recode, “Apple has scheduled a big media event for Tuesday, Sept. 9 — a date to which Apple numerologists will strain to attribute significance. As with September events past, the focal point of this one is to be Apple’s next-generation iPhones, which are expected to feature larger displays of 4.7 and 5.5 inches and run speedy new A8 processors.”
Apple still has made no official announcements about its next-generation smartphones.
Amazing features on the next generation iPhone are expected to include Near Field Communications technology to allow contactless payments, a super-sturdy screen and a massively upgraded camera. Other design changes expected to be included in iPhone 6 is a relocated power/lock button, which could move from the top of the device to the side as well as introduction of new barometer, temperature and humidity sensors and support for near-field communications (NFC).
4.7-inch iPhone 6 is expected to launch either in September or October, while the 5.5-inch version is expected to arrive a few months later.
A report on 9to5Mac had shown that iPhone 6 may get a ‘curved’ display with the thinner and rounder metal case.
