Twitter Co-Founder, Biz Stone launches a Question and Answer App Jelly which is available worldwide on iOS and Android. According to post on Jelly Blog “Using Jelly is kinda like using a conventional search engine in that you ask it stuff and it returns answers. But, that’s where the similarities end.”
There are many other Question and Anser sites available such as Quora and yahoo answers, but Jelly is quite different from these – “Jelly is designed to search the group mind of your social networks—and what goes around, comes around. You may find yourself answering questions as well as asking. You can help friends, or friends-of-friends with their questions and grow your collection of thank you cards. It feels good to help.” (http://blog.jelly.co/post/72563498393/introducing-jelly).
With jelly you can ask questions from your friends or any other user and you can also reply to other user’s question or query. Jelly has been designed to use imges to ask questions. Using Jelly you can ask question by taking a picture of any building or anything else on the go and then you can ask or send any question related to that picture in your social network who have Jelly where they can then answer the question according to the official Jelly Blog – “In a world where 140 characters is considered a maximum length, a picture really is worth a thousand words. Images are in the foreground of the Jelly experience because they add depth and context to any question. You can crop, reframe, zoom, and draw on your images to get more specific.”
Jelly is available now as a free download on the iTunes Store and the Google Play Store. This question and answer app lets users connect it with their Facebook and Twitter accounts also.
