Giant Social Networking website, Facebook has planned to use your Facebook profile photos for its facial recognition technology. Facebook will use its user’s profile pics to its facial recognition database to speed up the process of photo tagging. According to Facebook’s Chief Privacy Officer Erin Egan “Our goal is to facilitate tagging so that people know when there are photos of them on our service,”.

In order to prove that the security flaw exist in Social media giant Facebook, a bug or security researcher , Khalil Shreateh proves his point and posted on Zuckerberg’s Facebook wall about the bug. The Security flaw he reported was that Facebook allow people to post on someone’s wall without being in their friends’ list !!

Recently a giant social networking website Facebook said that it has paid over USD 1 million in the past two years to bug hunters or security researchers who finds and reports bugs on his website. Amazing discovery is that India is ranked as second biggest recipient in Facebook bug bounty program.
