Google Bulletin App – Anyone can Publish Local News Effortlessly

Google has announced a hyperlocal news app Bulletin that enables anyone to submit news that matter to the local community more than any other audience in other corners of the globe. This app is a platform for knowing the local events like what is going on in nearby restaurants, hospitals, change in opening or closure timings of a local store or an update about popular shopping avenue.  At present this app is in beta phase and launched for two cities Nashville and Oakland.

 

 

As per International journalist maggie shiels at Google HQ, “People everywhere want to know what is going on in their own backyard at a very local level, ranging from local bookstore readings to high school sporting events to information about local street closures.

 

Google Bulletin is intended to solve the purpose of the enormous number of local search that is done by users who are concerned about what’s going on in and around them. This app allows users to publish their content directly to the web using text, tags, photos, and video. This news will appear on Google search and can be easily shared with other similar to sharing a link. The best part of this app is anyone can share local information in most effortless manner.
