Google has successfully begun testing a new feature in its Google Maps app for android users that would only allow data to be downloaded by a Wi-Fi connection. This unique feature will help users with the limited data plan as well.
Select users can find the mode in the Maps settings menu in place of the “Offline areas” option. When it enabled, the app will suddenly warns that a small amount of mobile data may still be used, but significantly less than usual. The switch essentially cuts Maps off from cellular data, only loading new information over Wi-Fi, the app will working similarly to the “Use Cellular Data for” option switches in iOS’ own Settings app.

Prisma the turn-your-photos-into-paintings app that’s been blowing up over the past few weeks, is now launching on Android in full form. That means you no longer need a beta invite, and will be available to all Android users on the Google Play Store.

That’s certainly less exciting than Nutella, which pretty much everyone wanted. Heck, I would’ve even taken ‘New York Cheesecake,’ which is the internal codename Google used for the OS.
But at least it’s also better than some user-chosen names (Android ‘Nipples’) so I guess we’ll take it. Realistically speaking, Nutella probably would have involved some licensing woes, though they managed to do it for Kit Kat.
In an interesting note, the company used Snapchat as one of the platforms to reveal the name for the first time. Full News is Here

Android provide an excellent feature of Merging Layout. The <merge /> tag can be used for optimizing layouts in android application. Basically it reduces the number of levels in view hierarchy, hence it helps to appear screen fastly with less processing.
